In their visits, they introduced the organization and delivered some presentation about their culture or global issues with the main purpose of promoting cross cultural understanding and youth leadeship. What kind of organization the AIESEC is? Here is some information about it.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"AIESEC explanation\" src=\"http:\/\/www.santamaria1.sch.id\/images\/Aiesec_explanation.jpg\" alt=\"Aiesec explanation\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Cultural understanding from Cambodia\" src=\"http:\/\/www.santamaria1.sch.id\/images\/Cultural_understanding_from_Cambodia.jpg\" alt=\"Cultural understanding from Cambodia\" \/><\/p>\n<p>AIESEC (pronounced eye-sek) was originally an acronym of\u00a0 Association Internationale des \u00c9tudians en Sciences \u00c9conomiques et Commerciales. AIESEC wac established in 1948 after WW II, where seven youth from seven countries has a dream of building cross cultural understanding across nations. Today, AIESEC is no longer used as an acronym but simply as the name of the organization.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"after class presentations\" src=\"http:\/\/www.santamaria1.sch.id\/images\/after_class_presentations.jpg\" alt=\"after class presentations\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Aiesec is a non-governmental for not-for-profit organization in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), affiliated with the UN DPI, and is recognized by the UNESCO.\u00a0 It is also non-political and independent. This organization becomes \u00a0a global platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential which is run by students and recent graduates of institutions or higher education. Its member are interested in world issues, leadership, and management. AIESEC does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or national\/social origin. In this organisation, it is believed that youth leadership is not an option but a responsibility.
